Saturday March 31, 2012 to Wednesday April 4, 2012

Saturday, we woke up about 6:00 and ate a little breakfast. After breakfast we went for a short walk around the campground. After our walk mom and dad got the Minnie ready to go. We were going to stay here at Arcadia Campground another night but we listened to the weather last night and the wind was going to be strong for the next a couple of days so we decided to continue our adventure. Our next stop was Tucson. I'm very excited because I'm going to visit my grandma and her two dogs, Holly and Ping. I"ve haven't met Ping before so it's going to fun. The routine dad took to Tucson was mainly I10 so we didn't see much.

We didn't tell anyone that we were going to be in Tucson when we started so no one expected us. We didn't tell anyone just in cause something came up and we changed our Spring Trip Adventure. We arrived in Tucson about 11:00 and drove towards Grandma's House. On the way to Grandma's house we stopped to do a little shopping at Wal-Mart. After mom and dad finished shopping we went to Grandma's house. When we got there we were glad that she was home. She was very surprise to see us and her dogs were very happy to see us.

During our stay in Tucson we walked around Grandma's neighborhood, the riverwalk and the disc golf course. Each time we walked we walked for an hour and half. As we walked along the river we saw people walking, riding bikes, jogging and walking their dogs. So I met people and a few dogs. Grandma (dad's mom) is all by herself and she didn't a few things worked on so dad helped her. The projects dad did during our stay were: dad replaced one of Grandma's shower head and a couple of toilet seats, dad fixed Grandma's phone by replacing the telephone wire outside, dad got Grandma reconnected to the internet and we bought Grandma a new camera and dad taught her how to use the camera. Dad taught her how to take the pictures off her camera and save them to her computer. Dad also taught her how to e-mail her pictures.

The last day we were in Tucson mom and dad took me for a long walk on the river trail by the time we got back to the house we had walked about five miles. A little while later mom, dad and Grandma went to town to visit some of mom's family. While they were in town I stayed at the house with Holly and Ping. Dad had to dive all the way across town to Jethro's to meet part of mom's family. There were eleven people at lunch. Mom met her great nephew (Ethan), who is 4 months old. On the way home they stopped and did a little shopping. When they got home all three of us dogs were very excited to see them because they had been gone about three hours. At 5:15 mom and dad went to meet Aunt Andrea and Uncle Mike at Saguaro National Park. They hiked through the wash for about an hour. As they walked they visit. After their walk they went to one of Aunt Andrea's friends house to look at it. They said it was beautiful but the road to his house was very rough. By the time they got home it was 8:00. Mom fed me before she left but dad, Grandma and her hadn't eaten because they were still full from lunch so when she got back she heated up a chicken they had bought earlier for their dinner. Of course mom gave all us dogs a little chicken. After dinner we visit with Grandma. About 9:30 we went to the Minnie and called it a night.

Thursday April 5, 2012

Today we woke up at 6:00 and had a little breakfast. After breakfast mom and dad took me for a little walk around Grandma's neighborhood. When we got back Grandma was awake so mom and dad went inside. Holly and Ping were very excited to see them. They left me in the Minnie because we're getting ready to leave Tucson but first we need to help Grandma out one more time. Grandma's car check engine light came on and it started making noise a couple of days ago and dad wanted to make sure that it was ok so Grandma is taking the car to her mechanic and we're going to follow her there. Dad told mom I could go for a ride. I was happy to go. When we got to the mechanic dad and Grandma talked to him while mom stayed in the Minnie with me. The mechanic told Grandma what the problem was and that she could bring it back next Wednesday and he would work on it. The mechanic told her that the noise was caused by bad gas and she should top her tank off with the higher grade of gas. He also told her when she bought the car in to make sure it had a full tank of gas. Grandma drove her car back to her house and dad drove the Minnie back to her house. On the way back to Grandma's house we decided that we could leave Tucson today so when we got to Grandma's house we finished getting ready to go. Before we left Tucson we visit with Grandma, Holly and Ping, this time I went inside. While we were in the house mom called her mother to wish her a happy birthday. Happy 84th Birthday Grandma. We left Tucson at 10:00.

As we were driving through Phoenix we saw this cool trailer with three bears on it. The trailer was part of a carnival and mom and dad thought it was cool so mom took a picture of it. When we got to the other side of Phoenix we stopped for lunch at a Taco Bell. Mom and dad went inside and had lunch and I stayed in the Minnie. When they got back mom tried to take me for a walk but I was tired so we didn't go too far. When we got back we continued our adventure to Flagstaff because that's where we're going to stay for the night. As we were driving down the highway and we were almost to Flagstaff and we saw snow on the mountain peeks. We drove around Flagstaff to find a place to stay for the night. It was a little hard to find a place because the city of Flagstaff had an ordinate against overnight parking at the Wal-Marts. There are signs all over the parking lot but we saw a lot of trailers and RVs in the parking lot so we figured the ordinate really isn't enforced. We didn't want to take a chance so we found The Home Depot didn't have any signs so that's where we decided to stay the night. After we parked the Minnie mom and dad went inside The Home Depot to use the restroom. While they were in the store they bought a couple of water handles. When they got back mom took me for a little walk. When we returned mom made some ham sandwiches for dad and her dinner and she fed me my food. After dinner mom and dad went back to The Home Depot because when dad put the handles on the kitchen sink they didn't work so they had to return them. When they got back they took me for another walk around the parking lot. When we got back we called it a night.

Friday April 6, 2012

Today we woke up at 5:45. Mom had turned on the heater before she went to bed because it was going to be in the thirties but it only got down to forty. We slept very well last night because inside the Minnie only got down to 53 degrees. After we got out of bed we had a little breakfast because today our goal is to get to Zion National Park. When we finished our breakfast we walked around The Home Depot parking lot. When we returned to the Minnie mom and dad finished getting it ready to leave. After we left Flagstaff the drive to Utah was very boring until we got to the Navajo Indian Reservation, where we saw beautiful rock formations. When we got to Page Arizona we stopped at Lake Powell so mom could take pictures and look at the lake. The bridge to the visitor center was real cool because it went over the river at Glen Canyon Dam. Once we were at the visitor center mom and dad walked around and took pictures of Lake Powell. You can still take a tour of Glen Canyon Dam but mom and dad decided not to. After mom finished taking pictures they came back to me. Once they were back and I said hi to them we continued our adventure.

When we got to Kanab Utah we stopped for lunch at their city park. It was a very nice park with a playscape for the kids, tennis courts, basket ball court, a swimming pool with a couple of cool slides to get in the water and there was a hiking trail that went up a beautiful mountainside. I wasn't allowed in the park but I was allowed to be on the trail. Mom made some ham sandwiches for lunch and gave me a chicken bone for my snack. After lunch mom and dad took me for a little walk around the parking lot. When we returned to the Minnie we continued to Zion National Park. When we got to Zion we paid $15 so we could be escorted through the tunnels we didn't have to pay the entrance fee because we had the year pass. We had to be escorted through the tunnels because we were in a RV and the tunnels weren't really wide enough to handle the width of some RVs. The first tunnel we could go through without an escort. When we got to the second tunnel we had to wait so they could stop traffic from coming through the other end while we were going through. We really didn't have an escort we just had to drive the Minnie in the center of the tunnel. This tunnel was a lot longer than the first tunnel. Both tunnels were cool to go through. The second one had a few windows where you can look through and see part of Zion. As we were driving down the park road the scenery was gorgeous. We drove to the campgrounds but they were full so we had to continue down the road. We're going to go back to Zion National Park Sunday because the campgrounds may have an opening.

We drove all the way to Hurricane Utah to Washington County Park. Before we decided to stay at Washington County Park we drove to Quail Creek State Park but they were full. The park host told us that it was Spring Break so all the parks were full but he did suggest a couple of places to stay. We decide we would go back to Washington County Park. Washington County Park is different than other parks because it is a park where people train their horses to race. We drove through the parking lot and found a place to park for the night. Once we set up camp we walked around the facility to check it out. As we were walking we saw horses in stalls, people riding theirs horses and people loading their horses in horse trailers. After walking around a little while we went back to the Minnie. Mom made dad and her a salad for dinner and she fed me my food. After dinner we walked around the park again and we walked across the road so I could walk over leash for awhile. When dad took me off leash I was one happy dog because I could explore a little and not disturb dad's walk. We walked around for about an hour and then we went back to the Minnie and called it a night.

The race announcer's booth                                                 Watching the races

Saturday April 7, 2012

Today we woke up at 7:15 and had a little breakfast. After breakfast we walked around the park. We walked towards the race track and the horse stalls. When we got to the horse track we saw a few horses practicing. When I saw the horses I wanted to play with them so I whined for them. After I calmed down I sat down and watched them go around the track. As we were watching the horses we saw a couple of men putting trash bags in the trash can so we figured that there was something special going on today at the park. After watching the horses for awhile we decided to head back to the Minnie. We were starting back when we stopped and talked to a man. He told us that there was going to be horse races today at 1:00. He told us he was in charge of the track and the surrounding facilities. There are 400 horses here today and that the facilities are used all year round except in July and August because it's too hot then. He said that the track pays for itself and doesn't cost the taxpayer any money. Mom and dad told him that the facility was very nice and that we had stayed in the parking lot last night. He said we were welcome to stay and there were some spaces that had power and there were showers available in one of the big buildings. He told us to feel free to walk around and look at the horses and the facility. So we walked around where the horses were. As we walked around we said hi to the people and I met a Boston terrier. After walking for about an hour or so we went back to the Minnie.

When we got back to the Minnie mom and dad put things down because we're going to St. George to get some information on camping in Utah. As we were looking for the BLM building we was a pretty hot air balloon. There wasn't any wind so the balloon was flying too long before they took in down and put it away. When we found the BLM building mom and dad went inside to get some information and talk to the people working there. When they got back we drove around St. George and stopped by a gorgeous Mormon Temple. Mom and dad walked around the grounds and took pictures of the temple. After they finished taking pictures they stopped in the visitor center and talked to a few people working there. While they were in the visitor center they learned a little bit about the Mormon church. When they finished walking through the visitor center they came back to me. After saying our hellos we went looking for some place to get to the Internet so mom could update my website. We found a Staples so dad parked the Minnie and hooked up to the Internet. Dad checked his e-mail and mom updated my website. While mom was updating my website dad walked to a Subway to get a sandwich for mom and his lunch. While they ate their lunch and slept in mom's chair. When mom and dad finished eating and using the Internet we went back to Washington County Park.

We got back a little after 1:00 and dad wanted to rest a little bit before mom and him went to the horse races. We relaxed for about an hour and then mom and dad went to the races. Before they left mom gave me a milk bone as a snack. On the way to the horse track they stopped by an arena where they watched a couple of people ride their horses around a few borrows. After watching them for a little bit they went to the races. They only stayed for three of the races because it was starting to get hot and the only shade they had was under the stands. In between the races they would go under the stand so they would get too burned. Mom took pictures of the races. Mom and dad had a get time at the races and it didn't cost them anything. They returned to me about 4:00 and we said our hellos again. Mom and dad relaxed until dinnertime. Dad read, mom worked on her Sudoku and I slept. Mom made a salad for dad and her for dinner and she fed me my food. After dinner mom and dad relaxed until it started to cool off so they could take me for a walk. About 7:00 it started to cool down and we went for a walk. We walked around the parking lot so I could stretch my legs and take care of business. After our walk mom and dad took a shower and then we called it a night.

Sunday April 8, 2012

Happy Easter. We woke up about 7:00 and had a little breakfast. After breakfast we walked around the county park to the horse track and the horse stalls. The horses were being fed and watered. Some of the horses were already being exercise. We had a great time at Washington County Park but now it's time to continue our adventure. Our adventure today is to Zion National Park, which is 30 miles from Washington County Park. We arrived at Zion about 8:30 because we wanted to make sure we could get a campsite. A couple of days ago when we drove through Zion both campgrounds were full and today is Sunday so we figured people would be leaving. We drove around the campground and decided to take the first campsite we found because there weren't too many available. It ended up to be a great site. Mom and dad set up camp for a couple of nights. Afterwards we walked around the campground to pay for our site and to get familiar with the campground. When we got back to our site we set up our chairs and watched people packing up to leave. About 10:00 mom and dad took me for a walk to the visitor center. The trail we walked is the only trail dogs are allowed on. I had to stay on leash but that was ok with me because I got to go with my parents. As we were walking to the visitor center we walked by the Virgin River and saw a lot of people and a few dogs. When we got to the visitor center there was a lot more people and some of them said hi to me. We walked around the visitor center and read about Zion. Mom and dad didn't go through the visitor center because I was with them but that was ok because they were planning to come back later. As we were walking back to our site we met a couple of dogs one was very friendly so we said hi but the other one wasn't friendly so his dad picked him up. When we got back to the Minnie it was almost lunchtime so we sat in our chairs until it was time for lunch. Dad barbecued sausages for mom and his lunch and mom gave me a couple of chicken bones for a snack. After lunch mom and dad put me in the Minnie so they could go back to the visitor center and catch the shuttle. The shuttle goes through the canyon and stops nine different places so people can see some of the sites and do some hiking. Before the shuttle got to the end of the route mom and dad saw a few people rock climbing up the canyon wall. This is so cool because it can take one or two days to get to the top so the climbers will sleep on the canyon wall. Once they get to the top they hike a trail down the mountain. Mom and dad took the bus all the way to the last stop, where they hiked a mile trail along the Virgin River. When they got to the end they watched people playing in the river and watched other people get ready to walk down the river to the other end of the canyon. The river is so cold that people had to put on wet suits. After watching people for a little while they walked back to pick up the shuttle to take them to the stop right before the lodge. When they got off at the stop they hiked a half mile to the lodge. When they got to the lodge mom and dad had an ice cream cone and then they got back on the bus. They got to the stop right before the place they saw the rock climbers and they were hoping to see the rock climbers again but they didn't so the waited for the bus. Once mom and dad were on the bus and the bus drove around a corner they saw the rock climbers. They had gotten off at the right spot but they hadn't walked far enough to see them. When they got back to the visitor center they walked through it and then they came back to me. By the time they returned to me they had been got three hours so I really was happy to see them. Mom and dad were a little tired so we went to our chairs and just relaxed. There was some sun so I didn't stay in my chair I laid on the ground which made me very dirty. While mom and dad were gone on the shuttle more people were showing up so we had neighbors, which was a family with three kids and a dad. We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing. After mom and dad rested we walked to the Virgin River, where dad let me get my feet wet. While walking around we saw people playing in the river. Mom and dad thought they were crazy because the water was only 48 degrees. When we got back to the site we went back to our chairs until dinnertime. Dinnertime didn't come until 6:00 because mom wanted to heat up a couple of sausages and beans for dinner and you can only run generators between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm and in the morning between 8:00 am and 10:00 am. While mom was fixing dinner two of the kids from next door came over to say hi to me. I liked this very much but mom was getting my dinner ready so the kids didn't stay to long. After we finished eating we sat in our chairs until it started to cool off, which was about 7:00. Then mom and dad took me back to the river so I can get some of the dirt off of my body before I went inside. I walked in the river and got a little clean. Then mom wiped me down with a towel, which got me cleaner. When we got back to the Minnie I had to stay inside and my parents sat in their chairs until it started to get dark. Then they came in and we called it a night.

Monday April 9, 2012

We woke up at 7:00 and had a little breakfast. After breakfast mom and dad took me for a walk around the campground. When we got back to the Minnie mom and dad put me inside and then they walked over to the visitor center to catch the shuttle. They caught the shuttle earlier today then yesterday because they wanted to do their hiking before it got too hot. Today they got off at The Grotto stop instead of going all the way Temple of Sinawava stop. At The Grotto stop there are two hiking trails one takes you to The Emerald Pools and the other one takes you to Angels Landing. Mom and dad did the Emerald Pools trail because it was shorter and not too difficult to hike. At the beginning of the hike mom and dad cross over a big beautiful bridge, which went over the Virgin River. Once over the river you can either go right or left. They decided to go left because it went to the pools and the other way went to Angels Landing. During their hike they climbed over rocks, climbed stairs and up the canyon. Some places during the hike was very narrow and there was a lot of sand so they had to be very careful. They stopped as they hike to look at the gorgeous views of the canyon and to take pictures. The first pool they came to was the middle pool and the upper pool was .3 mile from the middle pool. This part of the hike was very challenging because the trail was narrow and steep and they had to climb over big boulders. Once they got to the pool it was worth the challenge. Dad took some pictures and they rested for awhile and just enjoyed the view. After awhile they started down the canyon to the lower pool. The lower pool was fantastic because there were a few little waterfalls and the view was incredible. There was a fantastic walkway around the pool where two trails meet. After walking around and taking pictures they headed back to the Grotto. When they got back to the middle pool they had to take the same trail down because the other one was closed. The hike down was easier then going up. When they got back to the bridge there was a lot more people just starting their hikes. Mom and dad were glad they started earlier because it was starting to get hot already and it was only 10:15. When they were walking over the bridge it was a little challenging because of all the people there. Once they got back to The Grotto stop they decided to take the shuttle up to the top and then back down. While riding the shuttle they saw turkeys, deer and rock climbers. By the time they got back to the visitor center it was starting to get busy and it was close to lunch. When they got back to me I was very excited because they were gone for three hours again. They were tired but they weren't too tired to say hi to me. Mom and dad rested a little while before dad barbecued sausage patties for lunch. We spent the rest of the day just relaxing in our chairs. Dad read a book, mom worked on her Sudoku and I slept and sunned. Once again I got filthy. While we were relaxing I met our new neighbors and they paid attention to me. Before dinner mom and dad took me down to the river again so I could clean up. Today mom wore shorts so she got in the river with me. After mom and I walked in the river and I got cleaner we got out. Mom dried me over and got most of the dirt off me. When we got back to the Minnie I had to stay inside because mom and dad didn't want me to get dirty again. Mom fed me my dinner and heated up leftovers (sausage and beans). After dinner mom and dad walked to the visitor center to see what the forecast was going to be at Bryce National Park because they wanted to know if we should leave tomorrow or stay another day. They found out that Bryce may get snow Wednesday night so they decided we were going to leave in the morning. When they got back to me they said hi and then they sat in their chairs until it started to get dark. They bagged up the chairs and then called it a night.

Tuesday April 10, 2012

Today we woke up at 6:45 and ate a little breakfast. After breakfast mom and dad got the Minnie ready to leave Zion National Park because we're move on to Bryce National Park. When they finished get the Minnie ready they took me for a walk around the campground. We were the only ones walking around because it was still early. After our walk dad put a cooler together while mom went to the restroom. When mom returned we began our adventure to Bryce. On the way out dad dumped our tanks. Bryce National Park is only 90 miles from Zion National Park so we're not in any hurry. On the way to the tunnels dad stopped occasionally so mom could take more pictures. We were lucky when we got to the tunnel where they have to close the tunnel coming from the opposite way so RVs can get through it because they had just closed it so we didn't have to stop. We had a fantastic time at Zion National Park.

The drive to Bryce National Park was very nice we saw a lot of beautiful scenery and deer and pronghorns. When we got to Bryce it was about 10:00 we went to the campground to make sure we got a site for the night. We had no problem finding one. After we set up camp we walked around the campground and to the visitor center. When we got to the visitor center dad went inside and mom stayed outside with me. While we were waiting for dad I met a lab her dad said she wasn't always friendly towards other dogs. She seemed to be ok with me because we said hello. When dad came out we went back to the Minnie. Once back there we set up our chairs because we were going to drive through the park and didn't want our site to be taken while we were gone. The drive through Bryce is 18 miles long and up a curving canyon road. We drove all the way to the top before making any stops because the stops were on the left side of the road and would be easier for dad to stop on the right on the way down. Once on the top dad parked the Minnie and then mom made sandwiches for lunch. After lunch mom and dad walked around Rainbow Point and took pictures of the scenery. After mom took pictures we started down the canyon and occasionally stopped so mom could take pictures and enjoy the gorgeous scenery. After about an hour or two we were back at our campsite. Dad parked the Minnie and we sat on our chairs the rest of the afternoon. Dad read, mom did some Sudoku and I slept. After about an hour mom went inside and took a nap while dad and I stayed outside. After her nap she came back outside with dad in me. A little while later mom and dad put me in the Minnie and then they walked back to the visitor center. They wanted to walk through the visitor center and watch a video on Bryce National Park. They came back to me about a half hour later. I was excited to see them and I started to talk to them telling them I missed them. After we finished saying hi we went back to our chairs until it was time for dinner. Mom heated up some beef stew for dad and her and she fed me my food. After dinner mom and dad left me in the Minnie because they decided to walk to the General Store to see what they had there. The store was right next to Sunset Point so they stopped and looked at the canyon. After looking at it they walked through the store and decided not to buy anything. On the way back to the campground the walked the rim trail and looked at the canyon. They had a great walk. When they returned we sat outside until it was getting dark. Mom made cookies for dessert while we were sitting in our chairs. When it started to get dark mom and dad bagged our chairs and then we went inside for the rest of the night.

Wednesday April 11, 2012

Today we woke up at 7:15 and we ate a little breakfast. After breakfast we went for a walk around and then we went back to the Minnie to get it ready to move on. We decided to leave Bryce National Park because they were predicting snow and rain later on today and the wind was going to be real strong. The elevation at Bryce National Park is 8100 and we wanted to get to lower elevation and avoid the snow and wind. Before we left Bryce we stopped by the general store so mom and dad could take a shower. After mom and dad finished with their shower we left Bryce National Park. When we got to Ruby Inn's general store we stopped so mom and dad got pick up a couple of things because we not going to close to a grocery store in the next week. After mom and dad picked up a couple of things we stopped and got gas. Then we continued our adventure to Kodachrome Basin State Park. The drive there was very nice we saw a few deer and a few ranches. We arrived at Kodachrome Basin about 10:00 so it gave us plenty of time to walk around the park. Kodachrome Basin is a gorgeous park with a fantastic scenery of a red rock canyon. It also has hiking trails. Dad paid for a night because he wasn't sure how long we were going to stay. After we set up camp we went on a hike. Before we started our hike we stopped by the restrooms to check the forecast for the next few days. We found out it was going to be cold, windy, rainy and snowy so we decided we may stay here for four nights instead of one night. Mom and dad were going to walk down to the office to pay for a few more nights. They didn't want to take me because I would have to walk on leash along the main road so we hiked Angel's Palace Trail instead. This trail was great we hiked up and down the canyon and saw amazing vistas. At places the trail narrowed and made it a little challenging. There was a lot of sand on the trail so it felt good on my feet. During the hike we saw a few people hiking. By the time we got back to the Minnie I was tired. Mom and dad decided to drive to office instead of walk but before we left dad check the propane. We drove down to the office but dad could only pay for another night because the sites can be reservered so he did. Afterward we went to Canonville to a KOA to get propane so we would run out. After we got propane we went back to our site at Kodachrome Basin. Mom heated up some sausage patties for dad and her lunch. She gave me a little snack. During lunch it started to rain a little so mom and dad waited a little while before doing another hike. This time the left me in the Minnie because I was tired and it was sprinkling a little. Dad took the umbrella with them in case it rained hard during their hike. They hiked Grand Parade Trail, which is a 1.5 mile trail. Mom and dad hiked along the floor of Kodachrome Basin, which was outstanding. They hiked up and down the canyon and through sandy washes. The trail took you to a very nice area called Blocked Canyon, where they walked very close to the canyon walls and through a narrow passageway. As they hiked dad took pictures. They had a great hike. When they got home they were exhausted but they weren't too tired to say hi to me. After they rested they took me for a walk around the campground and we met a young couple that had three dogs. When we got back from our walk we relaxed in the Minnie for rest of the day. While we were relaxing mom gave me a ham bone which kept me occupied for awhile. After I finished my bone mom picked up the towel and walked over to the dish washing sink and washed it. When she got back we continued relaxing. When dinnertime came around mom cooked up some elbow noodles and chili for her and dad dinner. She fed me my food. After dinner we stayed inside because it was raining on and off and the wind had come up. About 7:00 mom and dad took me for a walk around the campground and when we returned we called it a night. While we were inside mom baked cookies for dessert. Have Fun!!!

A cave we saw during a hike

Thursday April 12, 2012

We woke up about 7:30 but mom and dad did get out of bed until 7:45 because the temperature got in the thirties. We were glad we had a propane heater because it kept the Minnie at the temperature of 53 degrees. When mom and dad finally rolled out of bed they got dressed and sat down for breakfast. Before mom sat down she gave me my breakfast. After we finished our breakfast we went for hike. We hiked Angel's Palace Trail again because it was only 1.5 miles long and easy for me. Today we hiked the trail and stopped occasionally to look at the scenery. It was overcast during our hike but when the clouds broke a little bit we saw a mountain range with snow on it. We're not that far away from Bryce National Park so we figured that the mountain range we saw was Bryce. We didn't see anyone during the hike today but it was a very nice and relaxing hike. We got back to the Minnie about 10:00 so we set up our chairs and sat in them for awhile. The wind came up and it got cold so we went inside. When lunchtime came around mom fixed dad her soup and a sandwich. She gave me a milk bone. After lunch we sat in the Minnie until about 2:00 then mom and dad took me for a walk. After our walk mom and dad left me in the Minnie and went on a hike. The trail they hiked was the Panorama Trail, which is a horse trail and it can either be 3 miles or 6 miles. Mom and dad hiked the 3 mile trail, which was easy at places and moderate at other places. The trail was a loop trail that went up hill and down hill. They scenery was magnificent through out the hike. They stopped occasionally to take pictures and enjoy the scenery. During their hike the sun came out once and awhile which made it a little warm but then the wind would come up and cool it off. When they finished the Panorama Trail they walked to the picnic area and rested. After they rested they walked the park road for about a half mile and came back to me. I was very excited to see them. After we said our hellos mom and dad took me for a walk. While we were walking around the campground we met the camp hosts. As we were visiting with them it started to snow a little but it didn't stick because it was 50 degrees. When we returned to the Minnie we set up our chair again and sat in them for the rest of the afternoon. As we were resting in our chairs people started showing up. It was still cold so we didn't stay outside too long but before we went inside we bagged our chairs. At dinnertime mom heated up the leftover chili mac and soup for dad and her dinner. She fed me my food. After dinner we went for another walk. When we returned to our campsite we went inside for the rest of the night. Mom baked cookies again. LIFE IS GOOD!!! Have a great night.
