Monday December 1, 2014

Today dad woke up at 7:00 and got dressed. Then he said good morning to me while he opened the blinds. After we said our hellos dad fed me my breakfast. While I was eating dad surfed the Internet. When I finished eating I asked dad to let me out so I could do my morning routine. Then I came back inside and waited for mom to wake up. Mom got up at 7:45 and got dressed and then she came out of the bedroom and said hi to dad and me. When we finished saying our hellos mom made breakfast. Today mom and dad both had toast and a glass of chocolate almond milk. After everyone was fed we just hung around the house because didn't have anything going on. While we were hung out at the house mom played Mahjong, dad surfed the Internet and I slept on my bed. When it was time for lunch mom made turkey sandwiches for dad and herself and heated up the leftover dressing from yesterday. Mom gave me some turkey for my snack. All afternoon we didn't do anything but hang around the house. Mom was tired so she was starting to doze off but she didn't do it for long because dad and I pestered her. At 2:00 mom finally decided to take me for a walk around the neighborhood. She really didn't want to because it was cold. We walked for about 45 minutes. As we walked my friend Ripley came out to say hi to me. Mom told him that his dad wanted him back in his yard. The gentleman that was wiping down his truck said that he was Ripley's uncle so he gives him some leeway. When I saw this gentleman I decided to go over and say hi to him. After we all said our hellos mom and I continued our walk. When we were walking back to the house I decided that I wasn't ready to go back because it was nice and cold outside. So we walked around Moss Rose street, which is a small street. I have another friend on this street called Valco but today he was outside so I didn't say hi to him. Also during our walk I did a lot of sniffing and I ate grass. By the time we got home I was tired but I had a great walk with mom. We relaxed for the rest of the afternoon. When it was time for dinner mom and dad weren't too hungry so they both had a turkey sandwich. Mom fed me my food for my dinner. After dinner mom and dad got dressed to go square dancing. Mom and dad decided to go square dancing with the Sundancers Club in Georgetown. As they were leaving mom gave me a snack and said they would see me later. The Sundancers' dances start at 7:00 and they have a workshop before the dance. It takes them 45 minutes to get to Georgetown so they didn't make it time for the workshop. The dance was in a small room today because people were using the ballroom for their Christmas parties. There were enough people at the dance for six squares could thing there wasn't any more people because there wasn't enough room. Mom and dad were the only people dressed up tonight. Mom wore her black and white outfit and a white hat with a black band around it. Dad wore his new western shirt and a black pair of jeans. Dad's new shirt was red with black western design on it so dad wore a black and white bow tie and a black top hat. I guess it was too cold to dress up. Mom and dad had a great time. When they got home to me I was sound asleep on the couch. When I saw them I crawled off the couch and said hi to them. Afterwards they changed their clothes. When mom finished changing she took me out to do my thing. When we came back inside we all relaxed until it was time for bed. While we were relaxing we listened to Concert Windows. Dad had signed up to watch unlimited concerts through Concert Window $8.00 a month. Tonight there was a live music at Kulak Woodshed in North Hollywood. Every Monday Kulak Woodshed has Monday Night Open Mic, where anyone can get up and sing. Some of the singers were professional singers but most of them weren't. Most of the people mom and dad listened to were good. They listened to it for a couple of hours. Some of the performs were Nelson Dee, Hudson Henry, The Whale, Kathy Chandlers and many more. Now we're tired so I'll say good night. Have Fun!!!!

Today dad woke up at 6:50 and got dressed. Then he woke me up by opening the blinds. Then we both said good morning to each other. Afterwards dad fed me my breakfast. While I was eating dad surfed the Internet. When I finished eating I asked dad to let me out so I could do my morning routine. When I finished I went back inside to wait for mom to get up. Mom woke up at 8:00 but she didn't get out of bed immediately because she wasn't feeling well. Mom finally crawled out of bed at 8:15 and got dressed. Then she made the bed. Afterwards she came out of the bedroom and said good morning to dad and me. After saying hi to each other mom made breakfast for dad and herself. Today they both had toast and a glass of chocolate almond milk. After everyone was fed we went to town to go shopping for items mom needed to take with dad and her Thursday night to their club Christmas dance. I went a long with them to town. After going shopping we went back home. Once at home mom put things away and then she made lunch. Today mom and dad had a turkey sandwich and a diet soda. After lunch mom did the dishes and then she played some computer games. She didn't play them too long because she still wasn't feeling well so she laid down to take a nap. While she was napping dad surfed the Internet and I slept. Mom napped for a couple of hours. Mom was going to finish putting up our Christmas tree but she decided to wait. Yesterday dad went into the attic and brought down our Christmas stuff and mom put up the tree but didn't decorate it because she ran out of time. Mom told dad that she still wasn't feeling well because her allergies were kicking her butt. Instead of decorating the tree she played computer games and paid attention to me. Dad had put the Lincoln up on Craig List in Belton Area and Austin and he starting to get some people E-Mailing him about it. So while mom was playing games he was responding back to the E-Mails. After mom played her games for a couple of hours she made some turkey enchiladas for dad and her dinner. While she was preparing dinner she gave me a turkey bone. When it was time for dinner mom fed me my food and she and dad had the enchiladas. After dinner mom took me outside and she did the dishes. KLRU is raising money right now so they have special programs going on. Tonight KLRU had Great Performances and it was Bing Crosby. So we watched it all night. When the show was over we called it a night. When it was time to bed mom started to feel better. I guess I don't have anything else to write so I'll say good night. We had a very relaxing day. Have Fun!!!!!

Wednesday December 3, 2014

Today dad woke up at 7:00 and got dressed. Then he came out of the bedroom and woke me up. Dad opened the blinds and said hi to me. Afterwards he fed me my breakfast. While I was enjoying my breakfast dad surfed the Internet. When I finished my breakfast dad let me out to do my morning routine. After I finished dad let me inside and I laid on the floor. Mom crawled out of bed at 7:45 and got dressed. When she was finished she made the bed and then she came out of the bedroom and said hi to dad and me. After we finished saying our hellos mom made biscuits for dad and her breakfast. Mom and dad also had a glass of chocolate almond milk to go with the biscuits. After everyone was fed we relaxed for an hour before we started our next project. Our next project was burying the invisible fence wire. Mom and dad have been meaning to do this for a long time but it wasn't that important. When the grass was put in a lot of my fence wire was covered up under the grass but the back half of the yard was left dirt. Mom and dad haven't decided what to do with this part yet. They thought about putting grass in or go zero scape, where there is little yard work. Meanwhile some of the wire was laying out in the open and at places dad had put some stakes to hold the wire down. Today dad decided he would start burying the wire. Mom and I went outside with him to help him. I stayed on the porch and watched mom and dad bury the wire. I didn't want to get shock and I knew I was safe on the porch. Mom told me that I could come down and be by them. She also said I wouldn't get shock because I didn't have my safe collar on. I decided to stay on the porch because I was happy just watching them. The first thing mom and dad did was dig a trench with a pick. Then they dug the trench out with a shovel. Once the trench was made they put the wire in the trench and covered the wire with the dirt they dug out. Today they just got one side done because they got tired and hot. They put their tools up and decided they would finish tomorrow. I was glad because I wanted to get some attention and go inside. We didn't go inside right away mom and dad sat on the porch chairs and rested. After they were finished resting we went inside. Mom heated up the leftover enchiladas for dad and her lunch. After everyone was fed mom did the dishes. Then she started to prepare ham hock and beans for their club Christmas dance, which is tomorrow night. While the beans and ham were cooking mom played computer games, dad surfed the Internet and started to backup the computer files and I slept. When the beans were done mom gave a little to dad so he could tell her if they were done. He said they were perfect. When the ham hock and beans were finished it was time for dinner so mom made ham sandwiches for dad and herself and she fed me my food and a little bit of the ham. After dinner mom and dad got dressed to go square dancing. Tonight the Shirts 'n' Skirts Club was having their weekly dance. Mom and dad always likes to dance to different callers and with different people. Tonight mom wore her pretty red outfit she got at their dance last week. She also wore a white hat with a black band. Dad wore tan pants and a red shirt with a white tie and white suspenders and a white hat with a black band. They looked great. They left me at 6:30 to be at the dance at 7:30. As they were leaving mom gave me a snack and said good-bye. I'm glad when they leave because than I can climb on the couch and sleep while they're gone. At the dance there were enough people there to have seven squares for the mainstream tips and five squares for the two plus tips. In between the square dancing one of the members of the club did a line dance. Mom only participated in one line dance but her friend, Vickie from Killeen danced all of them. They had a great time. When they got home to me I was still asleep on the couch but when I saw them I crawled off the couch and said hi to them. After we finished saying hi mom and dad changed clothes. Then they relaxed for an hour or so before they called it a night. We had a great day. Now it's time to say good night. LIFE IS GOOD!!!!!!!!

Today dad woke up at 7:00 and got dressed. Then he woke me up by opening the blinds and we said our hellos. Afterwards he fed me my breakfast. While I was eating dad surfed the Internet. When I finished dad let me out to do my thing. After I finished I laid on the floor waiting for mom to get up. Mom woke up at 7:30 and got dressed. While she was getting dressed dad made the bed for her. When mom finished getting dressed she came out and said good morning to dad and me. Then she made breakfast. Today dad had biscuits and a glass of chocolate almond milk. Mom had a biscuit and a corn tortilla with cheese on it and a glass of chocolate almond milk. After everyone was finished eating mom and dad decided they would just hang out in the house because it was spitting outside. They couldn't finish burying the wire because the ground would be to muddy. Mom played computer games, dad answered E-Mails concerning the Lincoln and surfed the Internet and I slept. When it was time for lunch mom made dad and her a ham sandwich and she gave me a turkey bone and a little ham. After lunch mom put the ham hock and beans in a crock pot to heat it up. She also baked a dessert to take to the dance tonight. The dessert was Heath Bars. Mom played games all afternoon and dad surfed the Internet and backup some more files. I slept and went outside now and than. When it was time for dinner mom made ham wraps with cheddar cheese in them for dad and her dinner. She fed me my food for my dinner. After dinner mom did the dishes and then dad and mom got ready for the dance. Tonight was the Lone Stars Christmas Dance so mom and dad dressed for the season. Mom wore her Christmas dress she got from a dancer in Temple. Dad wore red pants and a white shirt with a red bow tie and red suspenders. They both wore a Santa hat. As they were leaving mom gave me a snack and said they would see me later. Tonight was a special dance because of  Christmas so they had a special caller Walt Helgesen and his wife Margie out of Dublin Texas. It the beginning of the dance they weren't sure how many people were going to be there because there was enough people for one square. But people started showing up after the workshop. Before each dance the Lone Stars have a forty-five minutes plus workshop to go over some plus moves. The actual dance is one hour and forty-five minutes. During the dance they dance to mainstream moves. In between the square dancing tips there are round dancing tips and line dancing tips. At the beginning of the dance there were enough people for three squares but by the end there were enough people for two. There was a lot of food. They had taco soup, potato soup, ham hock and beans, chips, cookies, Heath bars, stuff Jalapenos, sandwiches and corn bread and muffins. Mom's and dad's outfits were a hit. Everyone thought mom's dress was beautiful. When she told the ladies from Gatesville that one of their dancers gave it to her. They were surprise because they never saw anyone wear the dress before. One of the ladies Barbara said if you ever get tired of the dress she would take it off her hands. All the food was delicious and everyone had a fantastic time. Walt was a good caller and at times a little challenging. When mom and dad got home I crawled off the couch and said hi to them. Then they changed clothes. While they were changing clothes they worked on mom's dress because she splattered some taco soup on it. They got all the tomato sauce off it and then mom washed it. While the dress was washing and drying we relaxed. Mom took me out and then she played computer games and dad surfed the Internet. An hour later dad went to bed and mom stayed up to take care of her dress. When the dress was finished drying mom said good night to me. We had a super day even though we didn't go anywhere. Now it's time to say good night. Have Fun!!!!!!!

Friday December 5, 2014

Today mom woke up at 6:45 to go to the rest room and then she went back to bed. Dad crawled out of bed shortly after mom went back to bed. Then he got dressed. Afterwards he woke me up and said good morning to me. When we finished saying our hellos dad fed me my breakfast. While I was eating dad surfed the Internet and checked out his program he ran on the computer. When I finished my breakfast dad let me out to do my thing. When I was finished I came back inside and waited for mom to get up. Mom must have been tired because she didn't get out of bed until 8:30. She got dressed and then she made the bed. When she finished she came out of the bedroom and said good morning to dad and me. Then she made breakfast for dad and herself. Today they bot h had toast and a glass of almond milk. After everyone was fed we hung around the house. Mom dozed off all morning, dad surfed the Internet and I slept. Wednesday night at the Shirts 'n' Skirts dance mom got a pink petticoat and it was a little too long. So mom and dad discussed modifying it to fit. Dad asked mom if she wanted to work on it today. She said no maybe tomorrow. When mom wasn't dozing she worked on her Sudoku. When it was lunchtime mom heated up the leftover ham hock and beans for dad and her lunch. She gave me half of a ham bone and a little ham for my lunch. After lunch dad read a book. Mom played computer games, baked some donut holes to take to the dance tonight and caught up on my website. I slept and went outside. After mom finished making the donut holes she did the dishes. We didn't go anywhere today because it was still spitting on and off all day. For dinner mom and dad had their normal Friday dinner, which is a frozen pizza. Today they had a Red Baron Supreme pizza and I had my food. After dinner mom and dad got ready to go square dancing. Tonight they danced with the Killeen Kickers in Killeen. Mom wore her black and white outfit with a black top hat. Dad wore a black shirt with light blue suspenders and a blue tie and blue denim pants and a black hat. As they were leaving mom gave me a snack and said they would see me later. During the dance mom did some line dancing and mom and dad both danced all the square dancing tips. There were enough people to make two squares and only a couple couples that round danced. Once again mom's donut holes were a hit. Everyone had a great time. They got home at 10:15 and caught me sleeping on dad's chair. When I saw them I climbed off and said hi to them. Dad was a little upset so he didn't say hi. After mom said hi to me they both went and changed clothes. When dad finished he came out of the bedroom and said hi to me because he wasn't mad at me any more. When mom came out of the bedroom she took me outside to take care of business. When I finished we went back inside and relaxed. While relaxing mom and dad finished up the donut holes. After relaxing for an hour we decided to call it a night. We had a very relaxing day and I don't have anything else to write. So I'll say good night. Have Fun!!!!!!!!

Saturday December 6, 2014

Today dad woke up at 7:00 and got dressed. Then he woke me up to say hi. After dad and I finished saying hi dad fed me my breakfast. While I ate dad surfed the Internet. When I finished eating I asked dad to let me out so I could do my thing. When I finished I came back inside and laid on my bed until mom got up. Mom finally got up at 8:00 and got dressed. Then she made the bed. When she finished she came out of the bedroom and said hi to dad and me. After saying our good mornings mom made breakfast for dad and herself. Today they both had biscuits and a glass of chocolate almond milk. When everyone was finished eating mom did the dishes, dad called a guy back on the Lincoln and I laid on my bed. Wednesday night when mom and dad went dancing mom found a beautiful pink petticoat. When she got home she tried the petticoat on and it was a little long. Mom and dad discussed how they were going to shorten the petticoat.  So after mom finished doing dishes she started to work on her petticoat. First she started to tear out the old elastic. While she was working on the petticoat for an hour or so dad helped her tear out the seam. I went outside once and then I laid down the table by mom's feet. When it was time for lunch mom and dad had finished tearing out the seam so they took a lunch break. Today for lunch mom heated up the rest of the ham hock and beans for dad. Mom had some can chicken on a couple of corn tortillas. Mom gave me a snack. After lunch we went to town because mom needed a few things in order for her to finish her project. I went a long with mom and dad. We went to Walmart. They bought pink thread, elastic and a pack of buttons. On the way home we stopped by Goodwill to donate a few things. While we were there mom and dad walked through the store. They went looking for a pair of red shoes for mom. They found a pair but it was a size 11 and mom wears a size 9 so they didn't buy the shoes. Today they didn't buy anything at Goodwill. Earlier in the morning a gentleman had called dad and asked if he could come by and see the Lincoln. The gentleman said he couldn't be at the house until 2:00. So by the time we got back to the house after shopping it was time for the gentleman to be at the house. The gentleman decided he wanted the Lincoln but he didn't have the money on him. So he's suppose to be by Tuesday with the money. After the gentleman and his wife left mom started her sewing adventure. She sewed up a little seam and then started to work on the big band. Then she decided she needed to go back to town to buy some type of double stick seam because the petticoat was heavy and she would be tearing out a lot of her work. So we loaded back into the car and off we went to town. We stopped at Handcocks Fabrics and bought double stick tape for seams. When we got home mom put the tape on the petticoat and there was a four inch gap so dad figured out how to fix it. So they took the the seam a part and gathered the petticoat a half inch at four different areas. This solution worked perfect. After doing this it was time for dinner so mom heated up leftover pizza from last night for dad and her dinner. Mom fed me my food for my dinner. After dinner mom baked some peppermint sugar cookies for dessert. She decided that she would stop working on her petticoat for the day because her back was a little tired. So during the evening we streamed Peter Pan Live on NBC. It was on NBC Thursday night and mom and dad had gone square dancing. While mom was watching Peter Pan dad read a book and I slept. After Peter Pan was over we relaxed for the rest of the night. We had a very good day. I don't have anything else to write so I'll say good night. Have Fun!!!!!!!!!

Sunday December 7, 2014

Today dad woke up at 7:00 and got dressed. Then he came out of the bedroom and woke me by opening the blinds. We said our good mornings and then dad fed me my breakfast. While I was eating dad surfed the Internet. When I finished my breakfast I went outside and did my morning routine. Today I barked at the deer and when I finished I barked to come in. Then I went to my bed and waited for mom to get up. Mom heard me bark so she crawled out of bed and got dressed. While she was getting dressed dad made the made for her. When mom finished getting dressed she came out of the bedroom and said good morning to dad and me. After we got finished saying hi to each other mom made breakfast. Today dad and mom had biscuits with gravy and salami and a glass of chocolate almond milk. After everyone was fed mom made some Reese's cookie bars to take with her and dad to their Sunday dance with TIPS. While the cookie bars were baking mom played some computer games, dad read his book and I slept. About a half hour later the cookie bars were done. While the crust was cooling mom was going to work on her petticoat but dad asked if she wanted to go to the Bell County Exposition Center. He told her that the Expo Center was having a car swap meet. She decided to go to the swap meet so she didn't work on her petticoat. I went along with them. When we got to the Texas Swap Meet Winternationals we were surprised how big it was. It was in the Expo Areas indoor and outdoor areas. There was a lot of old cars parts, old cars, different sizes of tools that are used on cars, old car owner manuals and a lot more stuff. Mom and dad walked around the swap meet for about an hour. Some people had old cars in the parking lot for people to buy and restore. Mom and dad had fun walking around and looking at some nice cars and a lot of other stuff. I was sound asleep when they got back to me. I really like our new car because I can stretch out on the back seat. When we got home it was time for lunch. Before lunch mom finished the Reese's bar. The crust was cool so she made the peanut butter filling and spread it on the crust. Then she made the chocolate icing and spread it on top of the peanut butter. Afterwards mom made ham sandwiches for dad and herself. She gave me a little ham for my snack. When lunch was over mom and dad got ready to go square dancing. On Sundays the dances start at 2:30 and goes until 5:00. Today mom and dad wore red, white and blue because the dance was in memory of Pearl Harbor. As they were leaving mom gave me a snack and said they would see me around 6:00. At the beginning of the dance there were enough people for three squares. The dance was a little different today because the men were assigned a number. Each time there was a tip the men had to go to a book to see which square they had to be in. The number tells the men which square they were in. Usually the dance has either Dale Smith or Wendell Moore calls but today they both called. The dance was very nice. Mom's dessert was a hit. When they got back to me I was sound asleep on the couch. Mom woke me up and I crawled off the couch so I could say hi to dad and her. Afterwards mom and dad changed clothes. When they finished mom fed me my dinner and then she made dinner for dad and herself. Today she made a Buffalo Chicken Stir Fry. It was spicy and they both liked it. After dinner we watched a couple of episodes of Suits on the Roku. Then we called it a night. We had a very nice day and I don't have anything else to write. I guess I'll say good night. LIFE IS GOOD!!!!!!!

Today dad slept in until 7:20. He crawled out of bed and got dressed. Then he woke me up and we said our hellos. Afterwards he fed me my breakfast. While I was eating dad surfed the Internet. When I finished my breakfast dad let me out to do my morning routine. When I finished I came back inside and laid on my bed to wait for mom to get up. Mom finally woke up at 8:00 and got dressed. When she finished she made the bed and then she came out of the bedroom and said good morning to dad and me. After we said our good mornings mom made breakfast. Today mom and dad both had biscuits and a glass of chocolate almond milk. After everyone was fed mom started back on her project of shortening her pink petticoat. She worked on it all morning and afternoon. Today she sewed the seam where she had taped up. Once the seam was sewn it made a waist band. The band had a big twist in it so mom and dad discussed how to get the twist out. They really didn't find a solution to the problem. By sewing the band where mom had it had shortened the petticoat two inches. Mom sewed a seam in the middle of the band because she wanted to be able to put elastic in either slot in case the bottom slot my have made the petticoat too short. Before sewing the seam mom made lunch for dad and herself. Today dad had a bowl of soup and mom had can chicken salad on corn tortillas and mom gave me a little snack.  After lunch mom went back to work on her petticoat. Mom got over half way sewn when the twist got out of control so she asked dad to help. They discussed how to work this problem out. Mom ended up tearing out the last half of the seam she sewed to make the band. Then dad looked at it and came up with a solution so mom's going to try the solution tomorrow. Because it was 4:00 and she was tired of working on the petticoat. While mom was working on the petticoat dad surfed the Internet and I slept and went outside once in awhile. While dad was surfing the Internet the UPS guy came by and delivered a package. The package was a part for the Equinox. It was the visors for the windows so he insulted them. After dad insulted the visors he took pictures of the Equinox. While dad was doing this mom and I kept in company. When he was finished we went inside. When it was time for dinner mom baked some Jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon strips for dad and her. Mom fed me my food for my dinner. After dinner mom baked some peppermint sugar cookies for dessert. During the night we streamed some concerts on Concert Windows. We started out with a country singer/songwriter Seth Sawyer. He was from Maine and was very good. We tried watching a few more but we stroke up because we didn't like the artists or the audio and visual was bad. We couldn't find a good concert so we went to the Roku and watched an episode of Suits and Daily Tech News Show. After watching television we called it a night. We had a great day and now it's time to say good night. Have Fun!!!!!!!!!

Tuesday December 9, 2014

Today dad woke up at his normal time, which was 7:00 and got dressed. Then he woke me up while he was opening the blinds up. We said our morning hellos and then he fed me my breakfast. While I was eating dad surfed the Internet. When I finished my breakfast dad let me out to do my morning routine. After I finished I barked to come inside. Once inside I laid on my bed and waited for mom to get up. Mom surprised dad and me by getting up and dressed by 7:30. Lately she hasn't been up until 8:00. Mom said good morning to dad and me and then she made breakfast. Today mom made some country gravy with sausage flavoring, cut up some ham and heated up the leftover biscuits for dad and her breakfast. They both had a glass of chocolate almond milk to go along with the biscuits, ham and gravy. Mom gave me a little snack. She told me she was going to try to do better with my diet. Because she has been bad by feeding me crackers and Oreo cookies. Instead she gave me a little bit of my food. After everyone was fed we went to town because mom and dad decided instead of fixing the band on mom's petticoat that they were just going to make a new band. I went along with mom and dad to town. The first stop was HEB because mom and dad needed to pick up a few toys to take with them to a couple square dancing dances. The first one will be Friday in Copperas Cove and the other one will be Sunday in Waco. After picking up a few toys we went to Walmart to pick up a yard of pink fabric and seam binding. After shopping for a few things we went home. It was almost time for lunch so mom decided not to start working on her petticoat until after lunch. Instead we relaxed for about an hour. Mom played computer games, dad surfed the Internet and I slept. For lunch mom heated up the other bowl of soup from yesterday for dad's lunch and she finished up her chicken salad on corn tortillas for her lunch. She gave me the other half of the ham bone for my snack. After lunch mom and dad discussed what to do first on the petticoat. They decided to remove the stitching mom did the other day and then remove the old band. While mom did this dad surfed the Internet and I played in and out the back door. It took mom two and a half hours to to this. The next step was a two men operation so dad helped mom. They put on the seam binding with double stick tape on the petticoat. While they were doing this our neighbor George was walking his lot next door so dad went out to say hi to him. While dad was talking to George the gentleman (Kent) that was buying the Lincoln called. Mom answered the phone, which surprised dad because mom hardly ever answer the phone. Kent said they would be by at 6:00 to get the Lincoln. When dad got back home he got the paperwork together and mom sewed the binding to the petticoat. After she finished doing this it was time for dinner so she called it a day on the petticoat. For dinner mom and dad had a baked potato and mom fed me my food. Kent showed up at 6:00. Mom, dad and Kent signed all the paperwork and then dad gave him all the manual and paperwork he had on the Lincoln. Afterwards mom and dad said good-bye to the Lincoln. After Kent and his wife left mom did the dishes and then she baked some Cookie n Cream cookies. During the evening we watched The Sunset Limited movie on Amazon. It starred Tommy Lee Jone and Samuel L. Jackson. After watching the movie we watched a couple episodes of Suits. Then we called it a night.  We had a great day and now it's time to say good night. LIFE IS GOOD!!!!!!

Today dad woke up at 6:50 and got dressed. Then he woke me up and we said our good mornings to each other. Afterwards dad fed me my breakfast. While I was eating dad surfed the Internet. When I finished I asked dad to let me out so I could do my morning routine. When I was ready to come back inside I barked. Once inside I went to my bed and waited for mom to get up. Mom finally got up at 7:45 and got dressed. While she was getting dressed dad made the bed for her. When she finished getting dressed she came out of the bedroom and said good morning to dad and me. Then she made breakfast for dad and herself. Today dad had toast and a glass of chocolate almond milk. Mom had cinnamon and spice oatmeal and a glass of chocolate almond milk. After everyone was fed mom and dad went back to working on mom's petticoat. Today they worked on making the band. The first thing they did was cut the pick cloth into a couple of two and a half inch stripe. Then mom sew the two pieces together. Once she did this they measured out how long they wanted the band. Then mom made a hem on both sides  of the band to stop the material and the bottom of the band. When she finished doing this it was time for lunch so mom and dad took a lunch break. For lunch dad had a bowl of soup and mom finished up her chicken salad on a flour tortilla. Mom gave me a little bit of my food for my snack. After lunch mom went back to her petticoat band. She sewed the hem binding on the band but she missed a couple of spots so she had to tear it out. When she finished doing tearing the seam out dad put the double sided tape on the hem binding. When he finished mom sewed the binding on the seam. It worked out perfect. When she finished this step she called it a day her sewing project because her back was tired. While mom and dad was working on the petticoat I played in and out the door. Dad called Aunt Louise just to see what was going on with her. While he was on the phone with her mom made dinner. Today she made another stir fry for dad and herself. She didn't give me any of it because it was a beef stir fry. When dad got off the phone dinner was ready. Mom fed me my food for my dinner. After everyone was fed mom did the dishes and I went outside. When mom finished and I came back inside we relaxed for about a half hour. Mom played computer games, dad watched the news and I laid on my bed. After relaxing mom and dad got ready to go square dancing. Today they went to Georgetown. As they were leaving mom gave me a snack and said good-bye to me. When they got to the dance everyone was dressed in Christmas outfits. Mom and dad didn't know that it was their Christmas dance because if they did they would have dressed for Christmas. That was ok they still looked great. There were enough people there for six squares. Mom and dad danced every square dancing tip. In between the square dancing tips there were round dancing. Mom and dad had a super time at the dance. When they got home I was sound asleep on the couch. But once I heard them I climbed off the couch and went over to say hi to them. After saying hi mom and dad changed clothes. Then mom let me out to do my thing. When I came back inside we relaxed for about an hour and then we called it night. We had a marvelous day and I don't have anything else to write so I'll say good night. Have Fun!!!!!!

Today dad woke up at 7:00 and got dressed. Then he came out of the bedroom and said good morning to me. When dad and I finished saying hi he fed me my breakfast. While I was eating dad surfed the Internet. When I finished eating dad let me out so I could do my morning routine. Then I came back inside and laid on my bed to wait for mom to get up. Mom finally got up at 7:45 and got dressed. Then she made the bed. When she finished she came out of the bedroom and said hi to dad and me. When we finished saying hi mom made breakfast for dad and herself. Today dad had toast with a glass of chocolate almond milk. Mom had maple and brown sugar oatmeal with a glass of chocolate almond milk. After everyone was fed we went to town to do our weekly grocery shopping and some Christmas shopping. I went along with mom and dad when they went to town. The main reason we went to town was because mom needed to get an attachment for making button holes and panty hose. We bought everything we needed except the button hole maker. While we were in town we stopped by the UPS Store to get our mail. Dad came out of the UPS Store with a package that wasn't due to be there until tomorrow. So this was a pleasant surprise. The package was a dash cover for the Equinox. So when we got home mom put the grocery away and dad put the dash cover on. When mom finished putting the grocery away it was time for lunch. Today dad had the rest of his soup from yesterday, mom had a turkey sandwich and mom gave me a bone for my snack. After everyone was fed mom did the dishes and then she baked a dessert to take with her and dad tonight when they go square dancing. The dessert mom baked was pecan bars. While the bars were cooling off. Louis called dad and asked if he was going square dancing tonight. Dad said he sure was so mom and dad met Louis at 6:30. So when dad got off the phone mom and dad went outside and vacuumed the Equinox because dad was going to do the driving tonight.. While they were doing this I had to stay inside because I would want to get in the Equinox. When they finished they came inside. I was happy to see them so we all said hi. Then dad surfed the Internet, mom wrapped Christmas gifts and I slept and played in and out the door. It was sprinkling on and off all afternoon so I didn't stay outside too long. When mom finished wrapping the Christmas gifts it was time for dinner so she made a stir fry. Before mom made dinner she cut the pecan bars. Mom and dad tasted the pecan bars and they were delicious. After everyone was fed mom did the dishes. Mom and dad had a half hour to rest before they had to get ready to go square dancing. During this time mom played computer games and dad and I napped. Today's dance was Coryell County Squares Christmas Dance so mom wore her Christmas dress with a Christmas hat. Dad wore a white shirt with a red tie and red suspenders. Dad also wore red pants and a Santa's hat. As they were leaving mom gave me a snack and said good-bye. The dance didn't start until 8:00 and they got there at 7:15. The Coryell County Squares were having a square dancing class so mom and dad watched the class and they were angels for the class for a half hour. The actual dance had enough people for four squares. There were a lot of food. Mom's dessert was a hit by the end of the dance all her pecan bars were gone. Everyone had a great time at the dance. They got back to me by 11:10 and I was sound asleep on the couch. I didn't crawl off the couch until mom and dad had changed clothes. We said our hellos and then mom took me outside to take care of business. When I finished I came back inside. Mom and dad rest for about an hour and then we called it a night. We had a great day even though mom didn't work on her petticoat. Dad teased her about that. He told her she would do anything to get out of working on the petticoat. Today they went Christmas shopping and grocery shopping. While I don't have anything else to write so I'll say good night. Have Fun!!!!!

Today dad woke up at 7:00 and crawled out of bed. After dad got dressed he woke me up by opening the blinds. Once we finished saying our good mornings dad fed me my breakfast. While I was eating dad surfed the Internet. When I finished eating dad let me out so I could do my morning routine. When I finished I barked to come back inside. Then I went to my bed and waited for mom to get up. Mom finally crawled out of bed at 8:00 and got dressed. While mom was getting dressed dad made the bed. When mom finished getting dressed she came out of the bedroom and said good morning to dad and me. Afterwards she baked biscuits for dad and hers breakfast. They also had gravy and ham to go with the biscuits. They both had a glass of chocolate almond milk. After everyone was fed mom decided to bake some maple donut holes to take with dad and her tonight when they go square dancing. While the donut holes were baking mom played computer games, dad surfed the Internet and I laid on my bed. When the donut holes were finished baking mom dipped them in the maple icing and put some sprinkles on them. Once she finished the donut holes she did dishes. When she finished doing the dishes she worked on her petticoat. She finished putting the band on and then dad and mom worked on the elastic. First mom measured the size she wanted the elastic to be. Then dad put a snap on the elastic. Then he fed the elastic through the band. When he finished doing this mom tried the petticoat on. It was loose so they made the elastic stripe shorter. When they got the length right mom noticed that some of the petticoat had let loose of the band so she had to sew it back in place. Mom finally finished her sewing project. She was happy. Mom put everything away and then I pestered her to take me for a walk. Mom didn't want to take me for a walk but after I pestered her for a little while she gave in to me. Mom and I walked around the neighborhood for a half hour. While we were walking a few dogs barked at us. Mom said hi to them and they quiet down. We stopped occasionally so I could eat some grass. While mom and I went on our walk dad took a nap. By the time we got back to the house it was time for dinner. Today mom and dad had a Red Baron 4 Meat Pizza. Mom fed me my food for my dinner. Louis had called us earlier and said he wasn't going square dancing because he wasn't feeling well. So mom and dad were on their own. Louis called dad back and told him that Kathy wanted to go. So when dad got off the phone he called Kathy and told her that mom and dad would be at her place at 6:15. After dinner mom and dad got ready to go square dancing. Today mom wore the same outfit as she did last night. Dad wore a pair of white pants and a red shirt with white suspenders and a white tie. For hat he wore a Santa's hat. They both looked super. As they were leaving mom gave me a snack and said good-bye, Tonight they went to Copperas Cove for the Double C's Blue Santa Dance, where each dancer had to bring an unwrapped toy for their admission to the dance. Blue Santa is a local group of people who collects toys and distribute the toys to local children for Christmas. The dance was very nice there were enough people there for two squares. Dorothy and Belinda were there when mom, dad and Kathy showed up. Dorothy wanted to be at the library early so she could practice her cuing. The Double C's use to be at the VFW Post 8577. They moved to the library because at the VFW you could still smoke and people didn't like to smell of smoke. The library worked out perfect. Mom and dad danced every square dancing tip. There was a lot of finger food and a lot of great people. Mom's donut holes were a hit even though she brought back a few of them. They had a super time at the dance. They got back to me at 11:00. I was sound asleep on the couch and mom had to wake me up. After she woke me up dad and her went and chanced clothes. As mom was taking her petticoat she noticed some more of the petticoat had released from the band. She decided to wait until tomorrow to work on it. Bummer mom!!!! After they finished changing mom took me out to do my thing. When I came back inside mom and dad had dessert, which was the rest of the donut holes. Mom gave me a little snack. Afterwards we called it a night. We had an outstanding day and I don't have anything else to write so I guess I'll say good night. Have Fun!!!!!

Saturday December 13, 2014

Today dad woke up at 7:00 and got dressed. Then he came out of the bedroom and said hi to me. After we finished say hi dad fed me my breakfast. While I was eating dad surfed the Internet. When I finished eating dad let me out to do my morning routine. When I came back inside I laid on my bed and waited for mom to get up. Mom got up at 8:00 and got dressed. Then she made the bed. When she finished making the bed she came out of the bedroom and said hi to dad and me. After everyone finished saying hi mom made breakfast for dad and herself. Today dad had biscuits with butter and jelly on them and a glass of chocolate almond milk. Mom had a biscuit and a corn tortilla with cheese on it and a glass of chocolate almond milk. After everyone was fed mom did the dishes. When she finished we went to town because mom needed to pick up a few things to fix her petticoat. Mom and dad think they may have to rebuild the whole band so they need to get more stuff. I went to town with mom and dad. The first stop we did was at Walmart to pick up the sewing items. Then we went to the UPS Store to mail out our Christmas cards. Then we went to Belton Feed to pick up some more food for me. As we were driving through downtown Belton we noticed that the Belton Market Day was going on. We were surprise because it's only the second Saturday and it usually the third Saturday. I guess it's because of Christmas. Dad parked the car and mom and him walked around looking at the wares that the vendors had. They didn't buy anything but they had a great time walking around and looking at the items. When they were walking back they walked through one of the stores. When they got back to me mom said hi to me. The last stop we did in town was at The Scott & White Hospice Thrift Store. Mom is looking for a pair of red shoes for square dancing and dad is looking for shoes. They didn't found what they were looking for but they still had fun. When they got back to me we went home. When we got home I was happy to be home as soon as mom opened the door I climbed out of the car. When we got inside the house it was time for lunch so mom made lunch. Today mom and dad had a chili bake. Mom heated up a few flour tortillas and chili. Then she put a tortilla on the bottom of a baking dish. On top of the tortilla she put the chili and on top of the chili she put cheese. She did this a couple of times and then she baked it for twenty minutes. Mom and dad had the bake for lunch and I had a little snack. After lunch mom did the dishes and baked some Cookie and Cream Cookies. In the afternoon mom played computer games, dad surfed the Internet and I slept and went outside once in awhile. About 4:00 mom barbecued some chicken. I went outside with her to keep her company. While we were outside dad took a nap. When the chicken was done mom made dinner. She made a new dish for dinner. It was a HEB India Butter Chicken dinner. The box had a pack of rice and sauce. Mom cooked up the rice and heated up the pouch of sauce with chicken in it. While mom was making dinner mom gave me a little chicken and a bone. While mom and dad ate the dinner I ate my food. After dinner mom did the dishes and then we relaxed for a little while.

Tonight mom and dad went to their monthly Texas concert at the Cultural Activities Center, which was Bob Schneider. Bob Schneider is a pop, rock, folk and country singer/songwriter. He is an one man team and played the guitar, keyboard, piano, trumpet and harmonica during the concert. He was a great performer. Mom and dad enjoyed the concert very much. Bob Schneider is an Austin base musician and artist. When they got to their seat at the concert there was a bag at each seat with goodies in them. The concert was sponsored by the local Subways so there were coupons for a free 6" sandwich, which were in the bag. When they got home to me it was 10:00 and I was sound asleep on the couch. Mom woke me up by saying hi to me. After I said hi to mom and dad they changed their clothes. Afterwards we relaxed for about an hour before calling it a night. We had a great day and now it's time to say good night. LIFE IS GOOD!!!!!

Sunday December 14, 2014

Today dad woke up at 7:00 and got dressed. Then he woke me up and we both said our good mornings. Afterwards dad fed me my breakfast. While I was eating dad surfed the Internet. When I finished eating dad let me out so I could do my morning routine. When I finished I came back inside and waited for mom to get up. Mom finally rolled out of bed at 7:45 and got dressed. While she was getting dressed dad made the bed for her. When she finished getting dressed she came out of the bedroom and said hi to dad and me. After we said our good mornings mom made breakfast. Today mom and dad both had toast and a glass of chocolate almond milk. After everyone was fed mom baked some peppermint sugar cookies for square dancing today. While the cookies were baking mom played computer games, dad surfed the Internet and I slept on my bed. I didn't play in and out the door today because it was dreary outside. After the cookies were finished mom did the dishes and then she removed the band from her petticoat. Dad surfed the Internet and I laid on my bed. When mom finished removing the band dad and her decided that they would go to town tomorrow to get heavier material for the band. Because the material they have now is very lite and it keeps unraveling. After talking about what they were going to do mom went back to playing computer games, dad surfed the Internet and I went outside and laid on my bed. When it was time for lunch mom barbecued a cheddar cheese burger for dad and a fish burger for herself. She gave me a snack and she heated up some mashed potatoes and gravy to go with their burgers. After lunch mom did dishes. Then dad streamed a couple of Twit's shows, Before You Buy and The Giz Wiz. After watching the shows mom and dad got ready to go square dancing. Mom usually dress in a dress for dances but the ladies that belong to TIPS don't. So mom wore red pants and a red shirt with white suspenders and a white tie and a white hat. Dad wasn't going to dress up but decided to dress up because mom did. Dad wore black pants and a red shirt with white and red suspenders and black and white tie and a white hat. Mom and dad really looked good. Mom and dad left the house early because they wanted to check out the RV spots at the Waco Fairgrounds before they went to the dance. As they were leaving mom gave me a snack and said they would see me later. On the first Sunday and third Sunday the TIPS Club have their dances in Waco from 2:30 to 5:00. The club decided to have a special dance this week instead of their regular dance next week and the dance was 3:00 to 5:00. Because it's Christmas Season the club decided to have Toys for Tots Dance, where the dancers bring a toy for their entrance. The TIPS dances are usually all plus but today's dance was a mainstream because they had invited dancers from all the clubs and some of them don't dance plus. The dance had enough people for three squares. The club assigned a number to each men and gave them a card that told them which square they were in during a tip. This way everyone gets a chance to dance and you don't dance with the same couples. Today there were four callers (Dale Smith, Wendell Moore, Charlie Martin and Dennis Camp) doing the calling. The callers took turns calling and each caller has his own style. There were three birthdays in December so Dana baked a cake to celebrate the birthdays. Everyone had a super time and there was a lot of food. Mom and dad got back to me at 6:00. I was very excited to see them. As soon as I heard mom I crawled off the couch and walked over to mom and dad and said hi. I pestered them for a little while because I was so happy to see them. When I finally calmed down dad took a picture of mom and himself in their outfit. Afterwards they both changed clothes. When they finished mom made dinner. It was easy tonight because dad had leftover pizza and mom had a piece of pizza and a corn tortilla with cheese on it. Mom fed me my food for my dinner. For dessert mom and dad had the leftover peppermint cookies that they brought back home with them. After dinner mom took me outside so I could do my thing. Then we went back inside and relaxed all night. We streamed two concerts that were on Concert Windows. The first one was Dan Berggren with Ed Lowman. They were folk singers and songwriters. Dan did the singing, talking and played the guitar. Ed played the base and fiddle. During the concert Dan read poetry and introduced the songs. They did a great concert. Mom took pictures but they didn't come out. The next concert wasn't for awhile so dad flipped through the concerts that were playing in the slot before. Mom and dad didn't like any of them. The second concert was James Osmos. We had listened to him before and really liked him. He is also a folk songwriter/singer. He did another fantastic concert. After watching James we listened to music until it was time for bed. We had a great day and I don't have anything else to say so I'll say good night. LIFE IS GOOD!!!!!

While I was eating dad surfed the Internet. When I finished my breakfast I asked dad to let me out so I could do my morning routine. Dad let me out the back door and I did my routine. When I finished I stayed outside for awhile because it was cool and the sun was out. After sunning for awhile I barked to come in. Once I was inside I went to my bed and waited for mom to get up. Mom finally got up at 7:45 and got dressed. Then she made the bed. When she finished she came out of the bedroom and said good morning to dad and me. Mom had apple and cinnamon oatmeal and a glass of chocolate almond milk. When everyone was fed mom did the dishes. Then we all went to town to buy some more material for mom's petticoat. Before going to Walmart we stopped buy The Car Barn and washed the Equinox. Then we stopped by Target and brought a few Christmas gifts. The last stop was Walmart to buy some pink material for mom to work on her petticoat. After doing our shopping we went buy the storage center and took the Minnie for a little ride. Dad tries to take the Minnie for a ride once a month if he can. We don't go too far he just wants to start it up and run the generator. When we got home it was time for lunch. So mom made lunch. She made soup for dad and herself. She gave me a little snack. After lunch mom did the dishes and then she played a couple of computer games. When she finished she started to work on her petticoat. While she worked on the petticoat dad read a book and I went outside and sunned. When I got hot I came back inside and cooled off. Once I was cooled off I went back outside. Mom worked on her petticoat until it was time for dinner. Today mom barbecued a cheddar cheese burger for dad and a fish burger for herself. She fed me my food for my dinner. After dinner mom baked some peppermint cookies for our dessert. While mom was doing this we watched a Twit program called All About Androids. Dad hadn't watch this show in a long time and he wanted to see what was new on Androids. After the show was over we watched three episodes of Suits. Then we relaxed for an hour or so before calling it a night. Before mom went to bed she did the dishes. We had a very nice day and I don't have anything else to write. I'll say good night. Have Fun.
